Angelique Kidjo Congratulates Burna Boy on His Grammy Award Win

Beninese-American singer-songwriter, Angelique Kidjo has taken to her Instagram page to congratulate Burna Boy on his Grammy award win in the Best Global Album category for his album, Twice as Tall and this comes a year after he lost the Best World Music award to her.

While sharing a photo of her with Burna Boy on her page, she wrote:

“Congratulations on your well deserved Grammy.”

 Angelique Kidjo is a four-time Grammy Award winner and according to reports, she has been nominated nine times at the Grammy Awards. She is one of the greatest artists in international music today.

Recall that last year at the Grammy’s Award,Burna Boy was nominated in the same category as her but she beat him to emerge the winner in Best World Music Category.
