Banditry: Troops Storm Bandits Camp

Troops of Operation Thunder Strike (OPTS) destroyed the camp of Bandits in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Two suspected bandits were killed during the operation carried out by the OPTS.

This was disclosed by the state’s Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, in a statement on Wednesday.

He, however, disclosed that several bandits escaped with life-threatening injuries during the ongoing operations covering five local government areas of Kaduna Central Senatorial District.

The Commissioner also disclosed that the troops also conducted a search and rescue mission during the operation.
