Dangote Begins Production Of Cars in the Newly Built Factory in Kaduna
Dangote has begun the production of cars in the newly built Dangote Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria Limited (DPAN) factory in Kaduna. They began with the roll out of Peugeot 301, with Peugeot 5008, 3008, 508 and Land Trek to follow in its tow.
It is targeted to produce 120 cars daily at full capacity and 100,000 cars yearly. They began with Peugeot 301.
Land Trek pick up trucks to replace Toyota Hilux , Peugeot 5008, 3008 and 508 will also assembled.
DPAN is jointly owned by Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, through his conglomerate, Dangote Industries Limited; Kaduna and Kebbi States Government; and a technical partner (Stellantis Group, the parent company of Peugeot).
