“Don’t Cheat On Anyone, Don’t Outsmart Your Business Partners, Favour is the Companion of All That Fear God” Bishop David Oyedepo
Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel), has called on Christians to not see leaving the country because of its current situation as an option but to continue in holiness and righteousness by shunning evil deeds as well as having the fear of God in order to enjoy favour and prosperity in the land.
In the wake of the insecurity and other crises prevalent in the country, the Bishop made this call while addressing his congregation on Sunday, May 16, declaring that he would be the last person to leave the country.
He further warned his congregation to shun evil practices and dubious acts especially in business but to remain righteous if they want to attract the favour of God in their lives.
“If there is a crisis in this Nation, I will be the last to leave here. “Don’t rob nobody, don’t cheat on anyone. Don’t outsmart your business partners. Don’t swear falsely. Don’t take bribes. Favour is the companion of all that fear God and favour shall be your companion from now.
“Flowing in favour demands the doing of righteousness. You know there is the appropriation of righteousness that people emphasize today, but don’t be deceived, he that doeth righteousness is righteous. The doing righteousness: favour!” the cleric said
