“E Choke: Yankee Has Caught The Bug”

Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has been responsible for starting some viral slangs such as ‘E choke’, ‘Tule’, ‘who dey breeet’ which he had earlier stated that he would patent them.

In a viral photo shared by Nigerian talent developer, Bizzle Osikoya with the caption, “Yankee has caught the bug”, a group of ladies were seen carrying a placard with the words ‘e choke’ boldly written on it. 

Davido also acknowledged the tweet and wrote “lmao”

Just when people thought the usage of the slang was about to die down, it appears to have crossed borders and gained acceptance in other parts of the world.
