Former Nigerian Singer, Lala is Dead

Alayande Lola Oladapo Quam popularly known as Lala, is dead. The news of the singer’s demise was shared on Facebook by his brother, Alayande Tunde Adisa, who disclosed that he passed away on the morning of Tuesday, March 23, 2021. The cause of death has not been revealed yet.

In his words: “Ina lilahi wa ina ilehi rojihun, with heavy heart I announce the death of my blood brother Alayande, Lola Oladapo Quam (LALA NLA) dis Morning. May Almighty God grant him eternal rest and gave us fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. He gone too soon and a very painful lost.”

Lala was mostly known for his hit collaboration, ‘Idi Nla’, with late indigenous rapper, Dagrin.

He also finished his Msc program last year from Lagos State University and was one of the graduating students in December, 2020.

Lala’s death is coming just a few weeks after the death of prolific producer, Dokta Frabs who famously produced ‘Idi Nla’.
