Happy International Women’s Day!!

Happy International Women’s Day to every woman out there.

Every year around the world, March 8 is marked as International Women’s day. The day is celebrated globally, highlighting the struggles and achievements of women in all walks of life both socially, politically, culturally, economically, as well as raise awareness about gender equality.

The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is #ChooseToChallenge. It indicates that a “challenged world is an alert world, and from challenge comes change”

In 1911, International Women’s Day was honored for the first time in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland on 19 March. Between 1913 and 1914, women in Russia observed their first Women’s Day on February 23. Later, it was decided that March 8 can be the globally accepted day to celebrate it.
