Grammy award winning rapper Jay-Z, has made history once again and has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as he has sold millions of records worldwide and becomes the first musician in the genre to be given the honour.
The music star changed the game with his songs Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem), Izzo (H.O.V.A) and Big Pimpin’. So it’s not a surprise that he’s being honoured in this way. He has stayed consistent over the years and has made history once again.
The rapper has sold 50 million albums and 75 million singles all around the world. He also has 14 albums that have made it to number one on the music charts. Not only that, but Jay-Z has 22 Grammy Awards, which is the most in hip-hop history. Jay-Z was also hip-hop’s first billionaire.
