JUST IN: Libyan Prime Minister Hosted by President Buhari in Aso Rock
President Muhammadu Buhari is said to be hosting Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, the prime minister of the Libyan government of National Unity at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Dbeibeh arrived at the forecourt of the villa at exactly 10am on Wednesday, May 26, and was received by President Buhari with cabinet members, including the minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeam, The Nation reports.
Both leaders are expected to deliberate on bilateral issues targeted at benefitting and enhancing the economies of both countries.
Also, Dbeibeh would use the avenue to console Buhari and the nation over the sudden and tragic death of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and ten other military officers.
