#JusticeForComfortBenjamin: Young Lady Raped and Murdered in Jos Before Her 16th Birthday

Nigerians have taken to their social media platforms to demand for Justice for a young lady  are asking for justice for Comfort Otega Benjamin who was raped and murdered before her birthday.

On May 23, photos of the celebrant were shared online, with loved ones asking for help in finding Comfort, who was supposed to be celebrating her 16th birthday. They said she had left home on May 22 and didn’t return. Sadly, on the evening of May 23, her body was found at Nasarawa Gwong in Jos North. She had been raped and murdered. She has now been laid to rest.

The hashtag #JusticeForComfortBenjamin has been trending non-stop and a lady who identified herself as Comfort’s elder sister, @MaryMagdaleneB2, has also taken to the platform to eulogise her younger sister and called on Nigerians to join her family to ensure Comfort gets justice by bringing her murderers to book.
