‘Nigerian Idol’ and ‘The Voice Nigeria’ Sets to Premiere This Weekend
This weekend is definitely packed full with lots of entertainment as the sixth season of ‘Nigerian Idol’ and the third season of ‘The Voice Nigeria’ are set to premiere and we get to see their respective judges in action.
The stage is set for the next Nigerian Idol, the main show starts on March 28, 2021. We know we’re in for a very entertaining ride as popstar, Seyi Shay; music entrepreneur, Obi Asika; and internationally acclaimed DJ, DJ Sose, will be bringing their collective expertise and knowledge of music and the music industry to sift through 3600 entries to see who will make it to the final 11, guide contestants as they battle to become the next Nigerian idol.
Award-winning TV Host, IK Osakioduwa has equally been announced as the host of the show.
Furthermore, The Voice Nigeria is also back, and we get to follow contestants from the blind auditions until the live performances as a host of Nigeria’s finest: Darey, Falz, Yemi Alade and Waje, decide on who has “The Voice”.

The Voice Nigeria will premiere March 27 on AM Showcase (DStv 151), AM Urban (DStv 153), and AM Family (DStv 154, GOtv 2) at 8pm, while Nigerian Idol main show starts on March 28 also on AM Showcase (DStv 151), AM Urban (DStv 153), and AM Family (DStv 154, GOtv 2) at 7pm.
