Nigerian Singer and Songwriter Tems, Nominated For The 2021 BET Awards

Nigerian singer and songwriter Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems has been nominated for the 2021 BET Awards in the Viewers’ Choice: Best International Art category.

She was nominated alongside South African R&B singer Elaine, British artistes, Arlo Parks and Bree Runway, French singers, Bramsito and Ronisia as well as Brazilian singer, MC Dricka.

 The organisers shared a video showing the nominated singers on their official Instagram page and also their photos as they called on fans and the global audience to vote. 

As at the time of filing this report, Tems is the second singer leading with over 19k likes on the platformAfter Brazilian nominee MC Dricka.
