Nigerian Twitter Compares Mr Macaroni’s Treatment by Nigerian Police to Uduak Akpan
Nigerian Twitter users have taken to the platform to express their dissatisfaction over police treatment of popular Instagram coedian, Debo Adedayo also known as Mr Macaroni and Uduak Frank Akpan, the suspected killer of Akwa Ibom job seeker, Ini-Ubong Umoren.
Some recalled that Mr Macaroni, along with other #ENDSARS protesters were mal-handled, arrested and driven away in a police van on 13th February, 2021 as they joined the #OccupyLekkiTollgate protest against the return of the Lekki Toll Plaza to LCC and the planned reopening of toll collection at the Lekki Tollgate while arguing that Uduak Frank Akpan who confessed to killing the young job seeker after inviting her to an interview for a non-existing job and finally having carnal knowledge of her before killing her, was given a more diplomatic treatment.
The Nigerian Police was tagged as biased and an opposition to the people whom they have sworn to protect.
