Paul Pogba Could Be The Highest Premier League Earner as Man United is Set to Offer New Mouth Watering Deal
Manchester United player, Paul Pogba, could be the highest earner in the Premier League as the club is reportedly set to present him with a mouth watering £400,000 per week new deal over the next five years to convince him to stay.
Pogba who has entered the final year of his current deal at Old Trafford currently earns £300,000-a-week, but United are keen on preventing him from going into the new season with his future still uncertain.
The 28-year-old commented last week that his focus was on his country in Euro 2020 and not his contract situation.
‘I have one year left on my contract, everyone knows that,’ Pogba said in a press conference. ‘There have been no concrete proposals for extensions. I’m still in Manchester.
‘After the season there was the vacation, so I didn’t sit down with the managers and coach. I’m focused on the Euro.’ He added
If the deal pulls through, Pogba’s earning will be higher than that of Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne who earns £385,000 per week and teammate David De Gea, who earns £375,000 per week.
