“Playing Wicked Mother-In-Law Endeared Me To My Friends and Producers”, Patience Ozokwor

Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor, has recently spoken on her roles in movies, stating that she is never tired of playing her stereotypic wicked mother-in-law and step mother roles, as she believes in accurate interpretation of roles by actors.

In a video shared by Rubbinmindsnow on Instagram during an interview with Bolanle Olukanni, she explained that she knew what it took to interpret assigned roles as she does her best to portray the scripts accurately, noting that playing major roles as a wicked person does not stop her from doing other roles  too. 

According to her, an actor should be elastic and do whatever job they are given well, which is what she has always believed in.

 “I thought playing the wicked mother-in-law or step mother would affect me negatively but it endeared me to my friends and producers”, she said
