Reverend Stephen Akinola of Redemption Ministries Worldwide Confirmed Dead

Less than 24hours after the death of Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua (T.B Joshua), founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), members of Redemption Ministries Worldwide were thrown into mourning as their general superintendent, Reverend Stephen Akinola, was pronounced dead too, the cause of his death is still unknown.

The Rivers State based cleric whose church is headquartered in Port Harcourt, was confirmed dead on Sunday 6 June, 2021.

Reacting to the news, one of his pastors said, ”the church has informed all pastors of the incident and his body has been deposited in the mortuary.”

Apostle Eugene Ogu, a former chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) described Akinola’s death as sad for the Christian community which is the body of Christ.

“Yes, it is a very sad day for the Christian community. While we were still talking of Prophet TB Joshua, Akinola’s death happened. “It is so sad. I pray that God comforts the entire body of Christ because he (Akinola) laboured so much for the body of Christ”, Eugene said.
