Samklef Slammed By Simi, Erica, Others Over ‘Insensitive’ Posts

Famous music producer, Samklef was dragged on Twitter after he made a post about female singer and songwriter, Tems behind. His post didn’t go down well with Simi and others as they deemed it ‘insensitive and disrespectful’ to Tems.

On Saturday, Wizkid took to his social media handle to show fans a snippet of himself and Tems on set for the visual of the song, Essence. This made so many of his fans express their desire to see Tems’ derriere in the new music video.

Samklef while reacting to the news wrote;

 “Everybody can’t wait to see Tems y**sh. Me sef dey wait. Who dey wait with me?”

Simi who didn’t find his tweet funny replied to him by tweeting, “WTF is wrong with you.”

In a series of now-deleted tweets, he went on to lash back at Simi as he wrote, “Eye service better face front. U 2 know abi? U wan show yourself.

“Why didn’t u dm to take it down? But na u only pass abi? Simi. Toxic. @Symplysimi u ingrate. Cause u think say u don blow. I go delete that tweet. But u f up.”

This has caused a lot of reactions from Twitter users as some condemned his tweet, noting that he was subtly body shaming the singer while others maintained that there was nothing wrong with what the producer said about Tems or her body.

While still trying to justify his post, Samklef further went on to mention that former BBN star Erica, had sex on national television and everyone seems to have moved on from that.

Erica, while reacting to this, warned him to keep her name out of his mouth. She tweeted,

 “Excuse me, I don’t know you, so please keep my name out of your sewage mouth. You just had to insert me in your drama today! I will not be associated with you!

In another tweet, she wrote “When you start trending again today, thank Tems, Simi and me, your mummy, woman hater.”

Samklef is based in the US and is famous for producing popular songs for top Nigerian music stars including Wizkid, among others.
