Seyi Shay Speaks About Altercation With Colleague Tiwa Savage, at a Salon Yesterday

Nigerian musician Seyi Shay, in a phone conversation with Pulse.ng, has addressed the exchange of words with fellow singer Tiwa Savage, at a hair salon yesterday.

According to her, she walked up to Tiwa to say ‘hi’, and the singer cordially replied but about 20minutes later, Tiwa walked up to her and warned her to keep her greetings to herself in public, among other things which later escalated into an argument.

Seyi also lamented on being skin-shamed byTiwa as she called her ‘ugly skin’, explaining that she had just got a chemical peel hence the state of her skin.

She further alleged that Tiwa was only trying to get her kicked off endorsement deals and also fighting another artiste for featuring her on a song, amongst other things. 

She further expressed displeasure at the fact that Tiwa could swear with her son’s life while also telling her that God will never give her a child because of her “bad spirit”.

In her words: “It hurt me because I’ve had a miscarriage before and I know the kind of pain that I felt when going through that so, for another woman not only to skin-shame you but to now tell you that God will not give you a child, that you’ll not have a child.” Seyi Shay coyly admitted to singing about Tiwa in the viral F*ck You challenge back in 2017, adding that the song was nothing compared to all that Tiwa had done to her.
