Stray Bullet Hit and Kills a Woman After Police Engaged Some Hoodlums in a Shootout.

On the 25th of May 2021 a businesswoman lost her life in the crossfire between hoodlums and security agents in Owerri, Imo state.

She was killed during a gun battle between suspected gunmen and security operatives, as she was hit by a stray bullet.

Some hoodlums had earlier attacked and razed Orji Divisional Police Headquarters.

The victim, who sold provisions in her shop at Hardel junction close to the scene of the fierce battle, was in her 60s, according to THE PUNCH.

It was learnt that another lady who was filming the ugly battle was shot in the leg close to the scene.
