The Three Students of Greenfield University Killed By Their Abductors, Identified

Abubakar Sadiq Yusuf Sanga, Precious Nwakacha and Dorathy Tirnom Yohanna have been identified as the three students of Greenfield University Kaduna, killed by their abductors.

Their dead bodies were found in Kwanan Bature village which is near the school, a few days after about 20 of them were abducted from their school in Chikun LGA of the state on the 20th of April, 2021.

The Kaduna state commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan equally announced the devastating news, adding that the bodies were taken to a mortuary by him and the Commander, Operation Thunder Strike.

Precious was from Nnewi Anambra state.

Sadiq Yusuf was the son of Malam Yusuf Mu’azu, a Director of Kaduna Ministry of Works.

He was buried on Friday, with outpouring of condolences to the father, who was also a former chairman of Jemaa LGA.

Taking to social media to eulogise Dorathy Yohanna, a Twitter user @ydcoal who identified her as his sister-in-law via multiple tweets which he also tagged presidential aide Tolu Ogunlesi wrote;

“Hi @toluogunlesi..

“My sister-in-law was among the 3 dead students found today from Greenfield University. We are all trying to unpack our feelings. People’s children have become sports for bandits & kidnappers. I know you get a lot of stick on here…

“Where do we go from here Tolu? Do we worry about tomorrow? Do we believe in a fair, just and righteous God? My mother-in-law hasn’t eaten or showered in 3 days since her daughter, whom she saw on Monday, got kidnapped & this death was the answer to her prayers.

“You’re not the president, I know, but please talk to your boss. The evil we do or our negligence surely does come around one way or the other. That’s the circle of life. Do something!! Bless you!!”.

At least 17 of the students abducted by the terrorists are still being held along with two female staff of the private university.
