Two Players Have Been Identified As Possible Nominees For Ballon D’ Or

Luke Chadwick, former Manchester United midfielder, has identified two players as possible nominees for this year’s Ballon d’ Or award.

According to Chadwick, the two likely candidates for the 2021 Ballon d’ Or are Jorginho of Chelsea and Lionel Messi of Barcelona

Jorginho won the Champions League with Chelsea this year and also the Euro 2020 with Italy, while Messi led Argentina to win the 2021 Copa America.

Ballon d’ Or was not handed out in 2020 due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
