United State Government’s Might list Nigeria among the countries that violate religious freedom

There are indications that Nigeria could be reintroduced to the US government’s list of countries that violate religious freedom.

The US government in 2021 removed Nigeria from the list of countries that violate religious freedom as recommended by the US Commission on International Religious Freedom.

But according to a Fox News report on Wednesday, a US Representative from New Jersey’s Fourth Congressional District, Chris Smith, on Tuesday introduced a bipartisan resolution to add Nigeria to the list of countries. State Department’s annual religious freedom violation.
