UPDATE: Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka Debunk Claims Made Against Him By Presidency

Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka has debunked claims by the presidency that he turned against the government because he was denied contracts.

Speaking in a sermon at the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN) on Sunday May 2, 2021, the clergyman said the accusations against him was laughable and childish as his call for the impeachment of President Buhari was not out of bias but strictly under the leading of the Holy Spirit.

“Fr Mbaka’s voice came from the spiritual, so what I am saying is unchallengeable. I have been silent because I was waiting for them to change until God said ‘speak’. “Some messages are like dew, some are like rain while some are like thunder. Anyone challenging that message is challenging the God of thunder and should be careful. “The Fr Mbaka who was speaking is not just a priest but by the special grace of God a job provider. To the glory of God, those benefiting directly from me monthly through direct salary are not less than 23,000 people.

“I am happy that the truth was hitting them. We are not afraid of them. Buhari cannot do it again; health and age are not on his side. We need a stronger and an experienced goal keeper in a time like this. If they want to put it that it was because of contract, let them come and build the highest university here and begin to mess up, I will still speak.

He however, admitted that he led three men to meet with the president during his first tenure, stressing that they had asked him to help them reach government as they were security experts who can help solve Nigeria’s security challenges, revive the nation’s economy through putting an end to theft of crude oil as well as provide employment.

He said: “These men had the platform to end insecurity within one month. This was under Abba Kyari. I just handed them over to government. They only asked me to help them reach the government and offered to help insecurity, revive the nation’s economy through putting an end to theft of crude oil and providing employment.’

“These are the three people they rejected their offer.”

“Anyone who says the truth is branded a terrorist. “Are those given contracts better than me? They have shown that they don’t have a reward mechanism. “The last person this administration should fight is Fr Mbaka.” He said

Recall that the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the President, Garba Shehu via a series of tweets on his verified Twitter handle revealed that  Mbaka turned on Buhari because he was refused government contracts.

He also asked Mbaka to stick to his spiritual calling and leave politics for the politicians as well as threatened to report the cleric to Pope Francis who is the head of the Roman Catholic Church.
