“We Stand With Our Players” – England FA

The England Football Association has condemned in strong terms the verbal attack on Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka after they lost their penalty kick in the Euro2020 final competition against Italy on July 11.

They stated that anyone behind such disgusting behaviour is not welcome in following the team while urging the toughest punishments be meted out on anyone responsible for such abuse.

Some used racists words and racial slurs while others used monkey emoji to troll the players as well as asking them to “go back to Nigeria”.
